Hi, I’m Deanna! I’m an adventurer at heart, a wife of 26 years, and a homeschooling mom to three amazing humans (ages 14, 22, and 24).

I love coffee, exploring new places, yoga, chocolate, and reading picture books aloud with silly voices.

I created Lancaster Learning to inspire a lifelong love of learning by bringing the spirit of adventure into every lesson. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of working with students of all ages, and I believe children learn best when they’re actively engaged. My teaching style blends storytelling, hands-on learning, games, and outdoor exploration to help kids make meaningful, real-world connections.

I believe reading and math should be joyful, playful, and taught with enthusiasm. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a child’s confidence grow as they master a new skill and discover that learning can be both exciting and empowering.

I’m also a passionate believer in game-schooling and creating learning experiences that spark curiosity, foster connection, and make education an adventure.
