Executive Director -- Pamela L. Bard-Cingle
Director, Pamela L. Bard grew up in Lancaster and graduated from Warwick High School. Pamela earned her degreee in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education from Shippensburg University.
Pamela is a state certified teacher and has a wealth of experience providing leadership and direction for the education and care of children. Her responsibilities at Sylvan Learning Center include meeting with parents, overseeing the learning center and the Prometric Technology Center, administration and hiring, and school visits.
Pamela loves working with students, both children and adults. When asked what she liked teaching, Pamela did not respond "Reading" or "Math". Her emphatic response was, "Students!"

Center Director & Director of Education -- Jennifer Martin
Center Director and Director of Education, Jennifer Martin obtained her bachelors in English from York College. She taught American and British Literature for 11th and 12th grade students at Eastern York and East Pennsboro High Schools before joining Sylvan's staff.
Jennifer's responsibilities include scheduling classes for teachers and students, testing of incoming students, conducting parent conferences, monitoring student programs and progress, and training teachers.
Jennifer's philosophy is embodied in the anonymous quotation, "Dream to touch the stars and live to reach your dreams." She tries to instill this into every student at Sylvan Learning Center and she's proud to be part of that ongoing dream.

Director of Education -- Kim Arnold
Director of Education, Kim Arnold graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
Kim is a certified teacher with experience teaching all grade levels. Her responsibilities at Sylvan include scheduling and teaching students, overseeing testing of students, and conducting parent conferences. She also manages contacting students' teachers and schools for the Lancaster center to ensure Sylvan is effective in meeting the needs of students.
Kim has a love of helping students become confident and proficient, which shows in her work with both students and parents at Sylvan. She is a valued member of our Sylvan team, as she strives to have a personal hand in the success of all our students.

Director of Education -- Aimee Wagner
Director of Education, Aimee Wagner grew up in Palmyra and is a product of the Palmyra Area School District. Aimee earned her degree in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University.
Aimee is a state certified teacher. Her responsibilities at Sylvan include testing new students, monitoring student programs, teaching, and meeting with parents to monitor progress in both school and Sylvan.
Aimee believes every student deserves to succeed in school and diligently works with the student, in addition to parents and teachers, to meet their goals.

Associate Director of Education -- Karen Sallee

Associate Director of Education -- Sara Coladonato
Associate Director of Education, Sara Coladonato is a 2005 graduate of Millersville Unviersity. She is a state certified teacher in secondary education.
Sara's responsibilities at Sylvan include testing new students, teaching, preparing lessons and the classroom for instruction, and meeting with parents to monitor the progress of students.
Sara believes in the way that Sylvan reaches students on a daily basis and loves to see students reach their potential.

Program Manager & Technology Center Administrator -- Alan Geiger
Program Manager, Alan Geiger is a 2001 graduate of Millersville University, where he earned his bachelors in Elementary Education. He holds a PA certification in Elementary Education. He is also a 1997 graduate of Penn Manor High School.
Alan's responsibilities at the Sylvan include teaching, preparing lessons for students, preparing the classroom for daily instruction, planning student activities, and testing new students.
Alan believes that every student is special and can achieve his or her goals, with support and guidance. He believes Sylvan helps bring that support and guidance to their students.
